Canadian Red Cross - CPR C (Beginners)

CPR/AED training: These courses are designed to provide various levels of CPR training based on the participant's background, needs and interest. A presentation on how to use an Automated External Defibrillation (and certification) is also provided with the course where legislation permits.

Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies in adults, children, and infants. This course follows the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada Guideline and is the recognized level of CPR training for health care providers & rescuers. The course covers:

  • Basic Physiology
  • The Emergency Medical System
  • Airway Emergencies and Interventions, infant, child, adult
  • Breathing Emergencies and Rescue Breathing, infant, child, adult
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), infant, child, adult
  • Two Rescuer CPR

Course Materials: Basic Life Support Skills Card, Certification Card
Time: 7 hours (9:00am - 5:00pm)
Price: $80 + GST (Price includes course materials and is subject to change).

Classes are limited to 12 students.
Certification is valid for three years upon successful completion of course. The Heart and Stroke Foundation recommends yearly training.
